Get ready for the big reveal.
Okay, maybe not such a ‘big reveal,’ but for those of you curious…here’s my craftroom!
The left picture is my desk, where I do most of my work. (I generally photograph products in a room with more light.) On the right is the shelves behind my desk. As you can see, they’re jam-packed, because I’ve been through a lot of crafty hobbies. There’s a section for everything. Let’s see if I can remember:
- Sculpting (food, figurines, jewelry, ceramics)
- Wire jewelry
- Needle felting
- Dollhouse furniture (woodworking)
- Friendship bracelets
- drawing/painting (acrylic and watercolor)
I think I’ve been into everything except sewing! Heh.
On my desk you can see all my adhesives and the 2 paper trimmers I use. All my scissors and other tools in the cups and the clothespins I use for holding things while they dry. On the right are my 2 boxes of findings/chain and two of my pliers + a wire cutter. (The rest of my wire tools are on the shelves.) There’s my cutting mat with extra bits of cardboard and cardstock. Also on the right are my tape runner and ball of twine. You can also see my computer (I watch shows while working), resting on the giant thing of drawers that holds my polymer clay. It really doesn’t fit anywhere else even though I don’t use it anymore. There is a LOT of clay in there.
So now you know where I work! That’s about average neatness. During a project it gets messier.
