Clipboard Earring Jig

These jigs were designed to make it easier to use clay earring blanks, keychain hardware, or any other fragile thing you are knotting onto, with a clipboard without damaging the item. The top has a groove that the clipboard clip easily slots into (make sure you are using a clipboard with a butterfly clip), and the felt on the bottom will protect the item while you knot, pulling at the strings. The pressure from the clip will keep the piece in place but won’t be enough pressure to dig into the item and leave lines.

These jigs have been tested and do prevent marks in pieces that would otherwise have been damaged by the clip.

This particular listing offers a few OOPS options where the printer wasn’t able to finish printing the last few millimeters, but the jig is still fully functional. It’s just not recommended for blanks/hardware that are shorter than 32mm.
