Custom Pet Doodles

This is a listing for a Custom Pet Doodle slot for ONE pet. By purchasing this slot, you are booking my time to draw your pet. Once I finish the drawing(s), I will format them into sticker sheets that you will then be able to purchase (separately) and re-purchase anytime as regular shop items.

NUMBER OF DRAWINGS

For most standard pets such as dogs and cats, at minimum I will draw one full-body model and one head closeup model. Once I have these models drawn, accessories and activities can be overlaid onto these models. For most standard pets, you can request up to 6 variations within this one slot. For instance, one variation with collar, one with bandana, one dog park, one bath, one grooming, one walk. You are not limited by the examples shown; you can request new activities or accessories as well. You can also provide additional reference photos for specific accessories or costumes. For small accessories, you can choose whether you want it on the head or full body model. (For example, the collar could be applied to either model, but the harness would only work on the full body model.) You can also choose up to 2 additional poses if you provide reference photos. For instance, a sleeping puppy or a cat in a loaf position. If you wish to purchase new poses, you will have to wait for this listing to become available again and book another slot. Please be aware that if I already have a base model for your specific breed or species, I will likely use that and recolour it to match your pet, unless your pet is very distinctive-looking. I will also likely reuse activity drawings unless you request otherwise (your dog will be placed on the same puddle for bath time, etc). If you have a ball python, your two base models will be the ones shown in the examples. For non-standard pets such as horses, birds, or rodents for example, the base models will be determined by how well the sizing works in a planner. For instance, a full-body horse model would likely be too big, and a head-only model for a hedgehog might not make sense, so for these pets you may have one additional variation. Those will be decided on a case-by-base basis and your options will be communicated to you. Please note that you do not have to fill up all 6 additional slots. If you have a snake and you only want variations to mark feeding time and enclosure cleaning time, that’s fine. And some variations lend themselves well to a rainbow palette while others don’t, and these will also be decided on a case-by-case basis unless you request a specific design be drawn in order to work with a rainbow palette. For some designs I will do both. If you want a different colourway, please let me know and we can decide on one.

REFRENCE PHOTOS

You don’t need to provide reference photos for every variation you request, but the more, the better. Providing photos of different angles of your pet also helps. At the very least I should be able to see the full face, front, side, paws (if applicable), and tail of your pet.

COMMUNICATION

This will be a very collaborative process, and I will likely be reaching out to you several times during the time slot to work with you on the drawings. You will have the opportunity to provide either your Instagram username or your email, whichever I will be able to reach you at the fastest. If you do not respond within the time slot, I will make executive decisions on your drawings, and provide you with what I have by the end of the time slot and then move onto the next customer. Also, remember that I am very willing to work with you to bring your vision to life, so if you have something in mind that isn’t directly addressed in this listing description, please let me know and I’ll see what I can do.

TIMEFRAME

The processing time for the finished drawings is about 1-2 weeks. I only work with up to a few customers at a time in order to stay within this timeframe. The speed at which you reply will also determine how quickly I am able to finish your drawings. I will provide you with the drawings before formatting them into sheets, just in case any last-minute change need to be made.

WHEN TO BOOK ANOTHER SLOT

Once this listing is available again or if it is still available after you have received your initial designs, you can book an additional slot if you want:

-more than 6 activities or accessories

-more than 3 distinct poses

-additional pets drawn

If I’ve already drawn your pet and you book this listing again, you can request 8 additional accessories/activities for that pet, and within that, 2 additional poses if desired. If you want the 2 poses without any props, you would then have only 6 other variations with props available to you. If you want more than one of your pets drawn together, that will be in another listing.

EXAMPLES OF WHAT TO ORDER

-kitten with collar, kitten with fancy tiara, kitten sleeping in bed, kitten with litter box, kitten with bag of cat food, kitten using scratching post

-dog in swimming attire, dog in everyday clothes, dog in Halloween costume, dog in top hat and monocle, dog holding a sign, dog holding a bone in its mouth

-rat with tiny harness, rat on exercise wheel, rat holding food, rat sleeping in hammock, rat in front of cage, rat with comically large bowtie

–case-by-case option: if you have multiple colour variations of a single small animal, like a snake, mouse, rabbit, koi fish, etc, you can order one or two base models recoloured to fill up those 8 total slots. So up to 8 fish in different colours, or the 2 ball python models multiplied by 4 different morphs, etc. This option will not include any accessories or variations, but you can request those when you buy this listing again. This option would only apply to small animals, so not cats, dogs, or anything larger.

SECRET HACK

You don’t have to use this listing exclusively for pets. If you want to get a drawing of a unicorn and then give it 6 different colourful scarves, I won’t stop you!

Note: coupons and sales will typically not apply to this listing. Doodle sheets will be available for purchase and re-purchase on glossy paper.
