This listing is for the STL file of the foam board earring jig. Print this with a .2 nozzle.

These jigs were designed to make it easier to use clay earring blanks, keychain hardware, or any other fragile thing you are knotting onto, with a foam board (like a macrame board) without damaging the item. This is especially recommended for earring blanks that don’t have enough flat area to be held in place with a clipboard jig, like the ones pictured. There are holes on either end for short pins to go through (like sequin pins) and hold the jig in place in the foam. Make sure the pins are pushed firmly in, as far as you can. It’s still not recommended to tug too hard at the strings while you knot, since the friction between the jig and the clay elements (if using a clay earring blank) could cause them to come off.

This STL file is only for the 3D printed part, so you will have to purchase the pins separately.

This printable jig file is for personal use only, meaning that you can print this jig for yourself only (and use the jig to make knotted pieces to sell if you want) but you cannot sell the actual jigs you may print using this file, and you cannot resell the digital file.
